Police officers from Nanyuki Police Station have impounded 6,000 litres of illegal petroleum products in Laikipia County.

Nanyuki police officers, in collaboration with National Government Officers (NGAO), raided a homestead belonging to a suspect and recovered the products.

One suspect was also arrested.

At the suspect's homestead, 6,000 litres of diesel fuel stored in tanks, along with other assorted petroleum products in the house, were seized.

"The suspect involved in this illegal petroleum product operation was arrested," the National Police Service said.

NPS expressed their appreciation for the continued cooperation and support from the public.
