A 17-year-old KCPE candidate has written her examination at Lodwar County Referral Hospital on Monday.

The Lodwar County Referral Hospital(LCRH) Director Joseph Epem has confirmed the incident.

Epem said a 17-year-old, a resident of Lodwar Township Ward gave birth to a baby-bouncing boy last week on Friday.

"We have one student, a 17-year-old KCPE candidate who is doing her exams at the maternity wing, this is because the candidate was defiled," he said.

"We want the perpertraitor to be arrested and face the law so that we can reduce the cases of underage pregnancies."

Her Aunt who's taking care of them in facility is appealing for wellwishers to help the child with basic needs that's required.
