Outspoken Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has failed to appear on the list of those awarded national honours.

In a cryptic post shared on his X account, Kuria added two photos, one with the list of those awarded with Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart of Kenya (E.G.H.) and another with the names of those working in the office of the Deputy President

"We shall be there no matter what," the post read.

Kuria is not the only CS missing from the list as his other colleagues Aisha Jumwa and Alice Wahome and others did not feature on the list.

Some of the CSs who were not in the previous government awarded on Tuesday are;  Mithika Linturi, Soipan Tuya, Peninah Malonza,  Ezekiel Machogu, Eliud Owalo, Zachariah Njeru, Davis Chirchir, Rebecca Miano and Susan Nakhumicha

The Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart of Kenya award is given in recognition of outstanding or distinguished services rendered to the nation in various capacities and responsibilities.

Awards are issued by the president upon the advice of a National Honours and Awards Committee in the president's office.

"In recognition of distinguished and outstanding services rendered to the nation in various capacities and responsibilities, I confer awards and honours to the following persons," President William Ruto said in a gazette notice.

This is not the first time Kuria has sent a cryptic message after events are happening in government.

When he was reshuffled from the Trade docket to Public Service, Kuria posted a couple of tweets, accompanied by songs. He also posted a picture of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua without captioning it.
