President William Ruto will on Sunday join other congregants for a church service at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega County.

Ruto has been on a four-day working tour in Western region of the country since Thursday.

His tour started from a day-long tour in Bungoma on Thursday to unveil strategic development projects.

National Assembly speaker Moses Wetang'ula and Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Wafula among other leaders, accompanied the President on his tour.

Ruto presided over the groundbreaking of the Naitiri market in Tangoren, Bungoma.

The Head of State also officially opened Naitiri Primary School before leading the groundbreaking ceremony for the Naitiri Economic Stimulus Project Market.

On Saturday, he presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for Chekalini ESP Market in Lugari, Kakamega.

The President conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction works at the KMTC Ikolomani campus.

CS Nakhumicha announced that the construction of the campus is on the verge of being completed ahead of the September 2024 intake.

After a day filled with insightful development tours, President Ruto culminated his Saturday evening with a dynamic meeting alongside Western leaders at the illustrious Kakamega State House.

President's tour which comes only five months since his last visit to the county will see him traverse the four subcounties of Bungoma North, Webuye East and West and Bungoma South.
