Raila said during Wednesday's meeting the government shared with him the situation and levels of preparation and commitment by the government."I assured the team that I will tap into my experience and networks to win as many nations as I can," Raila said.

"With the commitment between the government and my team, we will be able to clinch the seat."

"We agreed on the need to understand the sensitivities in this quest be it national regional, continental and global in this quest," he said.

Raila said he is vying for the position in Africa and not in the Republic of Kenya.".... but I need an endorsement of the government of Kenya for that position," he said.
