The anti-Finance Bill protest that began as a peaceful demonstration early on Thursday is morphing into an action-packed scene similar to one in the Hollywood movie "Civil War" as protesters face off with anti-riot police.

As the protesters remained defiant that they must access Parliament Buildings and register their issues with the lawmakers, the police stood their ground and opened their water cannons to disperse the protesters.
