Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua attended the consecration of Kameme FM presenter Bishop Ben Kiengei.
The event was held at Jesus Compassion Ministry (JCM) in Ruiru.
He was accompanied by leaders among them, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugene Wamalwa (DAP-K leader ) former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, Karungo Thangwa (Kiambu senator ) and Ruiru MP Simon King'ara.
Others include Jayne Kihara (Naivasha), Mutahi Kahiga (Nyeri), former Kiambu governor James Nyoro and former Woman MP Cate Waruguru among others.
Bishop Ben Kiengei urged the DP to remain steadfast and fight for the interest of the people of the Mount Kenya region.
He said that the people of Mount Kenya would not stop supporting Gachagua in his quest to unite Mt Kenya.
"Deputy President, we are fully behind you and we will not tire of supporting you, if the opponents push you further, always feel free to come back home and that is Mount Kenya and we will listen to you, "Bishop Kiengei said
