Azimio la Umoja coalition co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka visited casualties of the anti-Finance Bill protest at Kenyatta National Hospital on Friday.

Kalonzo saw patients with bullet wounds and others with injured fingers in the wards.

The patients were injured during Tuesday's protests against the Finance Bill, 2024.

"We are sorry for your injuries and you will be well," Kalonzo said.

He thanked them for fighting for the country and said they were heroes for defending the rights of many Kenyans.

The patients also urged Kalonzo to do his best to ensure what they fought for was not in vain.

"Hakikisha ile vita tulipigana haitapotea ivo.Huyo jamaa ashuke," they said
