It is the first since widespread protests erupted across the country.
Ruto last chaired a cabinet meeting on June 11.
The meeting comes at a time when pressure has continued to mount on Ruto to dismiss some of his cabinet secretaries over alleged incompetence.
Protests to continue
A section of Kenyans calling for the resignation of President William Ruto are scheduled to resume their protests today.
A program released by the organisers shows that they are scheduled to converge at Jevanjee Gardens in Nairobi and other areas across the country.
The events lined up will culminate Sunday, July 7 which is dubbed Saba Saba.
Sakaja to appear before Senators
Nairobi Governor Sakaja Johnson will appear before the Senate Committee on Finance and Budget to address budget-related queries.
The event will be held at the Parliament buildings, starting at 10:30 am.
