World Ranger Day is celebrated worldwide on July 31 annually.

The day aims to commemorate Rangers killed or injured in the line of duty and to celebrate the work Rangers do to protect the planet's natural treasures and cultural heritage.

World Population Day celebrations

Kenya will today celebrate the World Population Day.

This year's celebration was to be held on July 11 but had to be rescheduled due to the protests that rocked the country.

The theme of the year is "Embracing Data for Decision-Making: Using Evidence to Invest in Adolescents and Young People."

United Nations Council for Population and Development (UNCPD) will co-host the event in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

Gachagua to attend funeral in Nyeri

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will attend the burial service of Mzee Charles Kabui at Muruguru Primary School in Kagumo, Nyeri Town Constituency, Nyeri County from 10 am.

MSMEs donor funding

TRANSFORM, an impact accelerator led by Unilever, the UK Government’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), and EY to announce the funding for Kenyan small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

The event will happen at the British High Commissioner’s residence in Nairobi at 5 pm.
