Sakaja reshuffles county executives, chief officers

He named Godfrey Akumali acting county secretary to replace Patrick Analo.

Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja on Monday announced a major reshuffle in the county executive.

The changes, which take effect immediately, sees Godfrey Akumali appointed as acting county secretary, replacing Patrick Analo.

Built Environment and Urban Planning CEC Stephen Gathuita Mwangi has been moved to Boroughs, Administration and Personnel docket, replacing Patrick Mbogo.

Mbogo now takes charge of Built Environment and Urban Planning docket.

Brian Mulama moves from Mobility and Works to head the Talent, Skills Development and Care docket.

Maureen Njeri who was the CEC for Business and Hustler Opportunities docket will now take charge of Green Nairobi, which was headed by Ibrahim Auma Nyangoya, who heads to Mobility and Works.

Anastacia Nyalita, who was the CEC for Inclusivity, Public Participation and Customer Service, has been moved to Business and Hustler Opportunities.

Rosemary Kariuki leaves Talent, Skills Development and Care to head Inclusivity, Public Participation and Customer Service.

Analo maintains his substantive position as chief officer, Urban Planning and Development.

“The governor also reshuffled other CCOs in a bid to ensure efficiency and service delivery,” a despatch from Sakaja's office said.

Health Facilities county chief officer, Geoffrey Mosiria, has been moved to Environment docket.

Smart Nairobi’s Tiras Njoroge is now at the Revenue Administration and acting at ICT Infrastructure.

Boniface Nyamu (Mobility) has been moved to Business and Hustler Opportunities.

Akumali who was also the CCO at Cooperatives in now at Social Services.

Zipporah Mwangi has been moved from Business and Hustler Opportunities to Public Paticipation, Citizen Engagement and Customer Service.

Dr Machel Wakienda has been moved from Economic Planning to Mobility while George Mutiso leaves Social Services for Cooperatives.

John Lintari, who was at ICT Infrastructure, has been moved to Economic Planning while Ibrahim Otieno leaves Environment to Health Facilities.

Lydia Mathia, who was the Public Participation, Citizen Engagement and Customer Service CCO moves to Housing and Urban Renewal while Wilson Gakuya leaves Revenue Administration to Smart Nairobi.
