KPLC lists counties to experience scheduled power cuts, Wednesday

Kenya Power has listed areas in eight counties scheduled for power interruptions on Wednesday.

The power company said the interruption is to allow for network maintenance.

The power interruption is scheduled to take place between 8 am and 5 pm in parts of six counties.

Parts of Nairobi, Narok, Kakamega, Homa Bay, Migori, Kitui, Kilifi and Mombasa will be affected.

Nairobi

Areas will experience power disruptions between 9 am to 5 pm.

They are Ngomongo, Dandora Dumpsite, Dandora Phase 2, 3  and 4, Co-op Bank, and Uprising.

Others are part of Kyuna Road, Kibagare Valley, Loresho Ridge, Loresho Crescent, and adjacent customers.

Narok 

Areas will face power cuts from 8 am to 5 pm.

They include Motonyi, Rotian, Kisiriri, Naisoya, Enengetia, Enabelbel, Olokirkirai, Tipis, Oloropil Topoti, Empatpat and Olchorro.

Kakamega 

In Kakamega, areas will have power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm.

The areas are Lutaso Market, Dorofu, Navakholo, Budonga Mit, Mukhweso Junction, Iwakhuba Mit and Lwakhuba Village.

Homa Bay 

Parts of Homa Bay will experience power interruptions from 9am to 5pm.

Wiobiero School, Ojunge Dispensary, Rodi Market, Marindi Market, Marram Market, Aluor and Kuja.

Migori

The areas in the county will have power interruption from 9am to 5 pm.

They are parts of Sori, God Gachawi, Sidika, Bondo Kouene, Otati Centre, Change, Kogole Water Pump and Aorojuope.

Kitui

Parts of Kitui will experience power interruption from 9am to 5 pm.

They are Kwa Kyenza Mlikt, Kwa Mona Market, Kunikila, Kwa Donga, Soweto, Matinyani, Kyaani, Kauma, Kavumbuni, Kyeni, Kavalo, Vui, Maseki, Pelena, Syongila, Mutendea, Unyaa, Mazeras, Katyethoka, Grits and Good Shepherd.

Kilifi 

Parts of Kilifi to experience power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm include parts of Roka, Matsangoni, Uyombo and Mida.

Mombasa 

Part of Moi Avenue, Canon Towers, Mwakinago Street, Port Sacco, Machakos Street and Kenya Shirts  from 9am to 5pm.
