Diamond brings Raila rally to stand still with electric performance

The singer said Kenyan youths believe in Raila and he will be the 5th president of Kenya.

Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz on Saturday with an electrifying performance.

The singer had supporters of the Azimio la Umoja coalition on their feet as he sang along to some of his greatest hits.

Among the songs he performed include; Babalao, Amaboko and Waah as Raila joined him on stage.

During the performance he also drummed up support for the former Prime minister, saying that the country believes in him and he is the next President of Kenya.

"Nataka nikuambie vijana wanakuamini sana, nchi inakuamaini sana, na wewe ndiye Rais unayefuata," Diamond said.

This translates to, "I want to tell you that the youth believe in you, the country believes in you and you are the next President."

He graced the stage donning a white vest and jeans accompanied by dancers also with white T-shirts.

The singer who has been in South Africa jetted into Nairobi earlier on Saturday, accompanied by his firstborn daughter Princess Tiffah.

He is one of the high profile artistes who entertained Azimio supporters.

Saturday is the last day of campaigns in Kenya as the country heads to the ballot to elect leaders that will serve them for the next five years.

The Kenya Kwanza coalition led by Deputy President William Ruto will have its final rally at the Nyayo stadium.
