An artist and doubles in opium?
Bridgerton Season 2 has given us a lot of screen time with Benedict Bridgerton.
Mostly, the audience got to see his silly self when he and his younger brother Colin (Luke Newton) drank spiked tea and got to laugh with him.
However, as the season ended, there was no more laughter as Benedict discovered that his older brother Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), had bought him his position at the Royal Academy of Art.
Heartbroken, he left the academy.
According to the original Bridgerton Novel Series, Season 3 will be An Offer From a Gentleman. It follows the romantic journey of Benedict.
Before season 2’s premiere on Friday, Entertainment caught up with Benedict where he told them he will treasure the ‘opium high’ moments.
“When I read the part I thought to myself,’yea that's very Bridgerton.’. Obviously, you do get hysterical. It’s a memory I'll treasure actually,” he said.
He expressed his hopes for season 3 but insisted that even though the series is rooted in the books, it can divert a little.
“As long as Benedict keeps being explored,I’m happy.”
