Gaspo recruit 12 players ahead of new season, reveals Githua

Club chairman Edward Githua said the latest recruitment aimed at replacing the 12 players who were off-loaded last season.

Gaspo Ladies have recruited 12 players in preparation for the 2023/2024 season.

Club chairman Edward Githua said the latest recruitment aimed at replacing the 12 players who were off-loaded last season.

"We have made some changes in our playing unit in preparation for the new season that is set to kick off in early October," Githua said.

Kenya Women's Premier League (KWPL) was earlier scheduled to kick off on September 24 but due to international matches, the date was switched to October 7.

Bunyore Starlets were not left behind in strengthening their side.

Head coach Timothy Ondeko said: "We have made critical signings to make our squad stronger ahead of league kick-off."
