National champions Kenyan Ports Authority take on Rwanda Energy Group in their opening FIBA Africa Zone Five women’s club championship tie this afternoon at the BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda.

Equity Bank Hawks, the other Kenyan team in the eight-day championships, enter the courts on Sunday against Vijana Queens of Tanzania.

The winner will join defending champions, Alexandria Sporting Club of Egypt and other top teams from the other Zones in the finals slated for Cairo in December.
