Team Kjellan will fly Kenya’s flag at the Africa States Bowling Tournament in Orapa, Botswana, on September 23.

The squad comprises top players including Chris Kimanga, Frida Mwangi, Jedidah Maina, Douglas Nyabuto and Rispah Waithera, who will be targeting continental glory in Southern Africa.

Kimanga, Kenya's reigning singles champion, will use the tournament as part of his preparations for next year's Champion of Champions tournament in Australia.

Sponsored by Asus Computers through its local partner Laptop Clinic, the Ruiru tournament attracted 60 enthusiastic bowlers, highlighting the steady growth of the sport in the country.
