Zetech University Sparks all set for Swords minus star Okot

Africa Nazarene University (ANU) will face Wolfpacks and Absa in the men's Premier League at the Strathmore University Sports Complex.

Zetech University Sparks play Strathmore University Swords in a Kenya Basketball League clash at Nyayo National Stadium gymnasium.

 Sparks high-riding coach Maurice Obilo said he had prepared his team well for the duel and was going for nothing short of maximum points.

He said the team's confidence is sky-high even without the services of their key player Medina Omot who is in France on a national assignment.

"They have now learnt to cope well without her (Okot) and I am happy with their level of confidence going forward," offered Obilo

"The girls are prepared. We have been in strict training this week because we also have an away game in Mombasa this weekend."

In the absence of Okot, he said, hot shooting Chantal Kiyobe, who is back from Rwanda where she had gone to see her family, will step. 

Swords, who suffered a 70-35 loss at the hands of champions Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) in Mombasa last week, will bank on Alex Juma and Sharon Ogaji.

Africa Nazarene University (ANU)  will face Wolfpacks and Absa in the men's Premier League at the Strathmore University Sports Complex.

The lower division matches will involve Peninah Nthenya's  Safe Spaces and Moischers against Stanbic Aces and Clique Mambas respectively.

Stanbic Shields will also face off against Blazers as Mombasa-based Creeks come face to face with Little Prince.
