Kenya U20 Women's team, the rising starlets,  coach Beldine Odemba has named a provisional squad for the first leg of the World Cup qualifier match against Angola scheduled for Sunday at the Nyayo stadium.

The 30 players called up joined the camp on Saturday, September 30 in readiness to take on Angola in the first leg before travelling to Luanda, Angola on October 14 for the second leg.

Angola will tentatively arrive in the country on October 6 to get familiar with the playing area ahead of the tie.

Kenya Women Premier League side Madira Soccer Assassins have the most player call-ups with a total of six in the squad.

Fasila Adhiambo of Ulinzi starlets who was named Kenya Footballers Welfare Association (KEFWA) Player of the Month for February/March 2022, highlights the forward line alongside Charity Midewa of soccer assassins.

The midfield will be led by Nakuru City Queens Elizabeth Muteshi and Rebecca Kwoba of Zetech Sparks.

Dorcas Glenda of the Red Commandos who had previously been called up for the Cecafa U-18’s headlines the defender roaster.

The goalkeeper positions will see two Butere Girls’ players, Christine Omolo and Judith Okumu, battle it out.

The winner of the tie on aggregate will face the winner between Cameroon and Botswana.
