There are four La Liga matches on Wednesday in the third round of games of the new season.

Valladolid and Leganes get the ball rolling in a clash between two recently promoted sides, who have both won their opening home games of the campaign.

Igor Zubeldia is back for Real Sociedad after injury and returns at the right time to shore up a defence missing the injured Aritz Elustondo and Jon Pacheco.

Real Sociedad won 1-0 away to Espanyol over the weekend, while Alaves drew 0-0 at home to Betis, with coach Luis Garcia saying his team could just as easily lost or won the encounter.
