KCB RFC scrumhalf Samuel Asati is among five new faces included in the Kenya Sevens squad for the Africa Cup/Olympic qualifiers slated for Harare, Zimbabwe this weekend.

Asati, who played for Kenya Under 20 and Simbas in the past two seasons, was in superb form during the National Sevens Circuit. He gets the nod as Kevin Wambua's charges aim for a third appearance at the Olympics in France come next year.

The winner of the tournament qualifies for the Paris Olympics while the runners-up heads to the repechage slated for June next year.

The top three teams from the tournament will then head to the Challenger Series to be played between February and May next year.
