The three-day event will bring together African heads of state, high-ranking government officials, senior policymakers, private-sector players and civil society organizations.

It is being held at KICC.

The opening session will be open to the media.

There will be opening statements from AU heads of state and government, AU chairperson and AU commission chairperson.

It is being deliberate on Africa's recent widespread decades-long decline in soil quality of farmland, a phenomenon that continues today and negatively impacts the agricultural production capacity and food security.

A 10-year Action Plan to deliver concrete recommendations for steps taken by the leaders and stakeholders over the period is set to be adopted.

President Ruto is expected to grace the event.

President William Ruto will preside over the launch of the Second Kenya Urban Support Program (KUPS2).

It will be held at State House, Nairobi.

Gachagua to meet Somalia PM

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will host Somalia Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre for bilateral talks.

The duo will thereafter address the media.

The meeting will be held at the DP's official residence in Karen.
