CBC report to be ready by Friday – Gachagua

The task force has been collecting opinions from parents across counties on what should be changed.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said they will give the way forward regarding the CBC reforms on Friday after the task force gives the President the report on their findings. 

Addressing students of Komarock Primary school on Tuesday, Gachagua said they expect to receive the report from the CBC task force this Friday. 

"We will give the way forward after the President receives an interim report on how we proceed with the CBC and other reforms," he said. 

Gachagua said what teachers do is a calling and their role in society should be highly appreciated. 

He said the process of delocalisation must be done away with to allow teachers to work anywhere in the country.

Gachagua said the Teachers Service Commission will employ 30,000 teachers in 2023

He promised the candidates a small party worth Sh300 000 and to the teachers he promised a Sh100 000 gift.
