Jubilee Life Insurance CEO Asman Mugambi Ibrahim.

Jubilee Life Insurance has appointed Asman Mugambi Ibrahim as the Chief Executive Officer.

The Chairman and Board of Directors in a statement said that Asman will bring on board over 20 years of extensive industry experience.

Before joining Jubilee, he was the General Manager, Commercial and Operations at ICEA LION Life.

He has also worked for Liberty Life as the General Manager of Operations, UAP-OLD Mutual Group as the Head of Operations & Customer Servicing and as the Head of Actuarial.

Additionally, he has worked as an Actuarial Manager for Old Mutual South Africa.

Asman holds a Master of Sciences in Actuarial Management from Heriot-Watt University-Edinburgh UK where he was awarded the Hymans Robertson 2014 Award- best MSc Actuarial Management student.

He also holds a Bachelor of Science (First-Class Honours) in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi.

Asman is also an Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (UK), a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (US), Green Belt (Lean Six Sigma) and a Prince 2 Project Management Practitioner.

The board added that his commitment to excellence extends beyond the boardroom, as evidenced by his active involvement in professional organizations such as the AKI Individual Life Committee, Institute of Actuaries (UK), Actuarial Society of South Africa, and Actuarial Society of Kenya, among others.
