Phoenix Aviation, Kenya’s premier executive and VIP charter carrier, has expanded its fleet as it marks 30 years of operation.

The firm offers various services including executive air charters, global air ambulance, aircraft management and maintenance.

On Thursday, it received a super mid-size Jet, the Citation Sovereign C680 renowned for its exceptional range, comfort and performance, making it an ideal choice for long-haul intercontinental flights and providing seamless travel experiences.

The craft has state-of-the-art technology and a spacious cabin and is expected to ensure that clients enjoy unparalleled luxury and convenience, whether they are traveling for business or leisure.

It was flown from New York via Canada and Europe to Kenya after being cleared for entry into service.

Addressing the press at Wilson airport, the chairman of Phoenix Aviation board, Captain Steve Parkinson said it will help the charter carrier to expand its global medical evacuations, and charters as well as servicing governments and tourism.

The company’s General and Operations manager, Njoroge Wanyutu said, the new aircraft is an ideal choice for long-haul intercontinental flights and providing seamless travel experiences.

He added that with its state-of-the-art technology and spacious cabin, the fleet of C680 will ensure that their clients enjoy unparalleled luxury and convenience, whether they are traveling for business or leisure.

"This gives us a very good capability whereby we don't have to keep on stopping along the way for fuel stops. Currently, with the addition of this sovereign, we have a fleet of 13 aircraft, seven of which are business jets and six of which are turboprop aircraft.”

Phoenix Aviation now operates a robust fleet of thirteen aircraft including seven executive business jets in addition to three Beechcraft King Air Twin Turboprop Aircraft and three Single Engine Cessna Caravan C208B EX.

Phoenix Aviation boasts of having footprints in countries like Australia, Tokyo, the USA, Europe, and across Africa.

“We have no geographical boundaries. Wherever our clients need to go, we take them there,” Njoroge said.
