Detectives are investigating the murder of a GSU instructor whose body was dumped in a quarry in Utawala, Nairobi.
The body of corporal Joseph Maghanga bore a deep cut to the forehead. It was found Monday morning.
His two mobile phones remained in his pockets, police said.
Nairobi police boss Augustine Nthumbi said no arrest has been made so far.
“We don’t know the motive. The deep cut in the forehead suggests he was attacked,” he said.
His colleagues at the Embakasi B National Police Service College- GSU said they had not seen him since Sunday night. That's when the death is believed to have occurred.
GSU personnel are trained at the college.
Meanwhile, the body of a teenager was found in a pool of water in Kayole area after a suspected drowning on Monday night.
Police are investigating whether he was murdered.
