Kitui is jinxed and under capture by Satan – Senator Wambua

Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua has lamented that the county is jinxed and under the capture of the devil.

He linked the numerous accidents reported in Kitui to "Satan's stronghold" within the expansive county.

The Senator made the claims following the December 4th Enziu River Bus tragedy in which 32 people including choir members from Mwingi Good Shepherd Catholic Church, died.

He called for prayers “to pull down Satan’s stronghold.”

 Wambua  further expressed shock  that two clergymen who participated in the Monday interdenominational prayers at the Enziu site of the killer accident, were involved in accidents and cheated death as they returned home.

“Today, December 20, 2021, we held prayers at the Enziu River drift; the spot where we recently lost more than 30 lives in a single accident. After the prayers, two pastors who actively participated in the prayers were involved in two separate road accidents,” said the senator.

Three ATG church pastors cheated death on Monday night in twin accidents along the Thika-Garissa Highway. The first accident that involved a car in which Apostle Nicholas Ikui of ATG Mlolongo was a passenger. It hit a donkey near Mutwangombe market.

The second accident involved a vehicle whose occupants included Rev. Oscar Joseph and Rev. Daniel Kiiti, respectively of ATG churches at Voi and Tala.

It had a head-on collision with a lorry a Kavaini area along the same road. In both cases no one was injured but the vehicles suffered damages.

Wambua further noted that the previous week, a young man, Mutuku Kyenze aka Rasta, who was leading the team of local divers who searched and rescued a number of survivors from the ill-fated bus that had plunged into the Enziu water, died in a mysterious road crash.

The sadly recalled that on the same night of the Enziu bus accident , the driver of former Mwingi Central MP Joe  Mutambu's died in a road accident  at Kavenge area along the Thika-Garissa highway as they returned to Nairobi from the accident scene.

Wambua added: “We also know that when our foundations are shaken, we must pray the Almighty God to firmly establish us for the spiritual battles we must fight and win.”
