Auditor general aspirant outlines manifesto ahead of Kenya youth federation elections

A renowned auditor has declared interest in being the next Auditor General for the Kenya youth federation Bungoma chapter.

 Madesto Makokha Waswa, Certified public accountant (CPA) who also doubles as the chief executive officer of Madesto Waswa and associates, while speaking to the press in Bungoma town said that his main desire was t to fix the issues of unemployment and crime among the youths.

He added that he will also advocate for transparency and effective use of public resources in the county.

“I want to be the Auditor General of the Kenya youths federation so that we can use various available ways of reducing poverty, enhancing transparent and creating employment among the youths, especially in Bungoma county,” CPA Waswa said.

The election will be conducted on Friday this Week.

Waswa believes that it will be a turning point for the youths in the county and called on them to turn up in high numbers and vote for him.

“The election will be done virtually, I call upon our youths and all people of goodwill from our beloved county of Bungoma to turn up in large numbers for us to get the early victory,” he added.

He also added that he came from a poor background and his experience with life will enable him to tackle the serious challenges that the Bungoma youths have been facing
