Police are looking for a man who raided a home in Zabka, Muranga County and raped a woman in the incident.
The security officers say the woman was asleep on Wednesday night when the man raided her home.
According to the police, the man wore a mask and broke into the woman's house, opening the door lock from inside.
According to police, the perpetrator threatened and raped her while armed with a knife and also robbed her of a mobile phone valued at Sh 13,000 and cash amounting to Sh2,500.
Police say the assailant fled from the scene, as the victim screamed for help.
The victim was taken to hospital for immediate treatment and the officers processed the scene.
Elsewhere, On September 24, police officers encountered a chaotic scene where boda boda riders threw stones at a vehicle.
According to police officers from Itabua police station, bodaboda riders at Kangonde market were riding their motorcycles recklessly, and one hit the PSV with passengers.
Police say the bodaboda riders mobilised others and stoned the window panes and threw stones at police officers.
They also brought tyres to set the PSV ablaze which prompted officers to fire four rounds of ammunition and disperse the riders, police said
The passengers were evacuated and no one was injured.
Traffic officers came and collected the vehicle. The Case is under investigation.
