I will back Jubilee’s winner – Jamleck

A cabinet minister and an MP from Murang’a have said they will support the candidate who will be nominated by the Jubilee Alliance to run for president.

Speaking separately, Nairobi Metropolitan minister Jamleck Kamau and Maragua MP Elias Mbau called on the coalition to conduct free and fair nominations for the presidential candidate.

They said they will back whoever will win the ticket betweenTNA’s Uhuru Kenyatta and UDF’S Musalia Mudavadi.The two presidential candidates have signed a coalition pact with Eldoret North Mp William Ruto who has settled for the running mate slot.

Jamleck and Mbau accused rivals of Jubilee coalition of creating confusion about the nomination.They said "a strong force" is piling pressure on Uhuru to step down in favour of Mudavadi.

“Uhuru has not shelved his presidential ambition in favour of his coalition partner Mudavadi,” Jamleck said. The Kigumo MP was speaking at Kinyona town in the constituency.

Jamleck said the one who will the TNA ticket must be respected.Commenting on the same Mbau who was speaking at Mangoto village during the burial of Pauline Muthoni Mbausaid voters should be given a free hand to elect leaders of their choice.He said no one should impose a candidate on Kenyans.
