A hotel in the South Coast is positioning itself as a wedding destination.

The Swahili Beach Hotel has started flying couples on honeymoons from Uganda.

General manager Jeff Mukolwe yesterday said they have hosted seven weddings of 350 attendees, who stayed for more than three nights.

“The serene white sandy beach is one of the many wedding locations clients prefer in our hotel,” he said.
