Kitui East MP Nimrod Mbai has warned the opposition against orchestrating 'destructive' antigovernment protests telling them to be ready for the 'face off'.
The Kenya Kwanza politician condemned anti-government protests that led to the loss of lives and properties in Machakos, Mlolongo and Emali.
He said that opposition politicians hired goons who were ferried to various places in Ukambani, resulting in massive looting and destruction of properties.
The MP warned the opposition to be ready for the full force of the law that will be unleashed on them.
"We are telling the opposition that we are better than them in such games and we will stop them at all costs," said Mbai.
Mbai, who was addressing the media at Athi River in Machakos county, urged the Kamba community to resist calls for the 'illicit' demonstrations but instead support the Government for posterity.
