A man has been arrested in connection to his wife's alleged murder in Matungulu, Machakos County.
The suspect was arrested after the mother of three was found murdered in their house at Muumoni village in Muthwani location, Matungulu subcounty, on Monday.
Directorate of Criminal Investigations sleuths attached to the KBC police station nabbed the suspect on Tuesday, a day after the incident happened.
Police said the middle aged woman was found murdered in her house with visible injuries on her forehead.
It's suspected that the woman was killed on Monday night before neighbours stumbled on the body before alerting local provincial administrators, who in turn alerted the police.
Police said the suspect was helping in investigations into the woman's suspected murder.
Cops removed the body to Patjud mortuary within the Matungulu subcounty awaiting an autopsy.
They said the suspect would be arraigned in Kangundo Kaw Courts on Wednesday.
