National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wa has issued a stern warning to anyone considering undermining Kenya's AUC chairperson candidate, Raila Odinga.

Speaking in Siaya during the homecoming of Energy Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi,  Ichung'wah made it clear that any attempts to set a trap for Raila would backfire on those setting it up.

"Nataka niwaulize iko mtu ama watu wanaeza wekea baba mtego? Mtu akifikiria utawekea baba mtego utajipata umejitega wewe mwenyewe, kweli si kweli," he said.

(I want to ask, do you think there's anyone who can set a trap for Baba? If you think you can trap Baba, you'll find that you've trapped yourself instead. Isn't that true?)
