Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has asked former IEBC commissioner Irene Masit to return home immediately.
Sudi said Irene played her role during the last election and since the elections are over she should return home.
“We are asking Irene Masit to take her belongings and return home immediately," Sudi said.
He spoke at Chepkorio in Elgeyo Marakwet during the burial of Mzee Chirchir Masit who is father to Irene.
Sudi said there was nothing wrong with what Irene did and that politics should not get personal.
The MP said Irene worked closely with Odinga and the ODM chief was now working with Ruto for the unity of the country, so she should just come back home.
Sudi said he considers himself a son of Odinga who had played a great role in the unity and development of the country.
“There comes a time when Kenya is bigger than everyone and Odinga has always proved that," Sudi said.
He said the recent deal between Odinga and President William Ruto was proof that the two leaders valued the country.
“What the two leaders did recently was for the sake of the country and they talked as two people with wisdom and agreed on a broad-based government to save the country," Sudi said.
Sudi said he has been friends with Odinga for more than 17 years and emphasised that leaders should know that politics is not enmity.
