Two arrested after police find bodies in shallow grave in Trans Nzoia

The court has ordered exhumation of the bodies on Tuesday

Two suspects have been arrested as homicide officers guard a home in Trans Nzoia county where an unknown number of people were secretly buried in shallow graves.

County police commander Jeremiah Ole Kosiom says the officers are guarding the home located at Kaliwa village in Waitaluk ward.

Kosiom says they have already obtained a court order to exhume the bodies on Tuesday.

“We have two suspects in custody, and tomorrow we will know the whole truth," the police boss said.

Those arrested are owners of the home where the shallow grave was discovered

The shallow grave is located behind a mad house.
