Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has promised to complete all stalled projects in the county.

Speaking at AIC Namorio Church on Sunday, he said several projects he had initiated between 2013 and 2017 were abandoned when his predecessor took over.

“I will ensure that I complete all stalled projects started by myself and the last regime," Lusaka said.

The projects earmarked for completion include the High Altitude Training Centre for athletes in Chemoge.

“We want to complete the project so that our athletes can benefit from the same and even attract investors from far and wide," Lusaka said.

The governor said abandoning projects that were started by the previous regime is a waste of taxpayers' money.

“Projects are not for politicians but for the common mwananchi and completing them is value for money," Lusaka said.

He assured Mt Elgon residents that he would ensure they get clean piped water.

“Now that all the water comes from this region, we will ensure that we ensure a steady supply of water among residents," Lusaka said.

He promised residents a road network so they can transport their farm produce to the market with ease.
