One Kenya Alliance principals are among the leaders attending the second commemoration of the second President of Kenya Daniel Toroitich Moi.
The event was marked at Kabarak in Nakuru County on Friday, the home where Moi was laid to rest.
The late President Moi died on February 4, 2020, at the age of 95.
Wiper leader Stephen Kalonzo, Martha Karua of Narc Kenya, and Cyrus Jirobgo attended the event, hosted by Kanu chairperson Gideon Moi, who is the last born in Moi’s family.
Kalonzo said that President Moi was exceptionally different and wished that he continue resting in peace.
“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”
Karua remembered Moi for, among other things, being a champion of education.
