Activities have been heightened at the Bomas of Kenya as leaders from Kenya Kwanza and Azimio campe to observe the ongoing voter tallying.
Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has started receiving ballot papers from returning officers.
The returning officers are expected to present the ballot papers physically at the Bomas of Kenya.
Leaders present were Embakasi East MP-elect Babu Owino, Nairobi senator-elect Edwin Sifuna, outgoing Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok and Ababu Namwamba, among others.
Amnesty International Kenya executive director Irungu Houghton and British High Commission Governance advisor Con Onsendo were also present.
The Bomas of Kenya is the national tallying centre of the August 9 general election.
