Residents of Kisii County came out to celebrate after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairperson Wafula Chebukati declared William Ruto president - elect.

The residents donned UDA merchandise, sang and danced as they moved around the streets.

Ruto led with 7,176,141 votes representing 50.49 percent of the total vote.
