Education Cabinet Secretary nominee Ezekiel Machogu appeared before the National Assembly Committee on appointments for vetting on Friday.
He said that he has a net worth of Sh590 million.

Machogu added that if appointed, he will ensure that the cost of basic education is affordable.
"Once I get recommendations of the final report from the task force, this is one of the areas that we will be able to come up with such that it is manageable," he said.
