Media stakeholders and ICT CS Eliud Owalo met on Tuesday to discuss issues surrounding media sustainability.
The discussions centred on the current media business environment and how they can work together with the Ministry to ensure legislative and policy frameworks can be put in place to enable media to be sustainable.
They also discussed the huge debt the Government owes the media and the CS promised that he will work with Exchequer to structure the payments.
They discussed the relationship between Media and Government and how the media can partner with Government to inform the public on Government projects like Drought response and National tree planting.
