President William Ruto on Tuesday presiding over the police recruits pass out at National Police College-Main Campus, Kiganjo. 

He arrived at around 11.40 am to oversee the exercise in Nyeri county.

Last week on Friday, Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome presided over the rehearsal for Recruits. 

More than 5,000 police graduates are set to be released to service after a nine-month of training at various National Police Service training colleges.

The new recruits will be required to remain in the service for at least 10 years before leaving.
