President William Ruto was on Friday treated to a warm welcome by the residents of Homa Bay County.
The residents held placards with welcoming messages as the President toured Homa Bay town.
"Karibu Dala Wuod Sugoi (Welcome home son of Sugoi)," one placard read.
Ruto is on a two-day state visit to the Nyanza region.
He began the Nyanza tour in Homa Bay County, where he was received by Governor Gladys Wanga.
