National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula on Tuesday hosted the National Assembly Authority of the Gambia Republic led by its speaker.
Wetangula said the objective of the study visit is to enable Members of the Authority to learn from Parliament.
"The motive is to learn on mechanisms, approaches, processes and operations of our Bicameral Parliament to enable them to strengthen the Gambia Assembly as a critical institution of governance," he said.
The delegation consisted of Billay G. Tunkara (Majority Leader and Member of the Authority) Alhagie S. Darboe (Minority Leader and Member of the Authority), Alhagie Mbow (Member of the Authority), Maimuna Ceesay (Member of the Authority)
Others are Momodou A Sise (Clerk of the National Assembly), Gibairu Janneh (Director of Communications, ICT & Press) Sally Secka (Principal Accountant), Jestina Greywoode (Principal Administrative Officer (Office of the Speaker).
