World record holder Faith Kipyegon and sprinter Ferdinand Omanyala on Tuesday received royal treatment after being hosted by President William Ruto at State House.
Commonwealth and Africa 100 metres champion arrived at State house shortly after 8 am.
Kipyegon who is the 1,500 metres and 5000 metres World record holder was ferried from Eldoret to JKIA on Kenya Air Force plane.
She was received by Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja and Sports CS Ababu Namwamba .
Kipyegon was accompanied by her husband Timothy Kitum who is the 2012 Lodmon Olympics 800 metres bronze medalist and their daughter .
