President William Ruto's mother Mama Sarah Samoei on Thursday paid a courtesy call to Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii.
The two discussed various issues on the overall development of the county.
Mama Sarah also attended an event convened to issue title deeds to more than 500 residents in the county.
Attendees were treated to a rare show as the President's mother wrapped a Maasai huka to a female journalist covering the event.
Mama Sarah explained that she kept wondering what would happen if the journalist, who was dressed in a knee-length body con, were to bend over.
"When I got here, I saw my child wearing a dress shorter than her. I wondered, how would she be able to pick up that camera in case it fell down. I chose to bless her," she said.
