Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has lauded his daughter on her book, Jesus' Africa.
In a statement on Saturday, Museveni described the book as a masterpiece that links the Christian principles to those of the ruling National Resistance Movement.
"I want to congratulate Patience Rwabwogo for writing a book that links the Bible to NRM’s principles of Patriotism and Pan- Africanism," he tweeted.
He affirmed Patience's words that Africans have sold their birthright by being greedy and selling their people into slavery.
"Patience is trying to say that if we do not protect our birthright, the enemy will come and steal it. We must protect it," he added.
Museveni further thanked his daughter for introducing the family to the line of Christian leadership.
Patience is Museveni's second born child and the lead Pastor of Covenant Nations Church.
"She has showed us that you can be a cattle keeper and also a priest. I congratulate her!" Museveni said.
Speaking about her journey to serving God in 2018, Patience said the transformation of the world will start with Africa.
"In about 2005, I started having this same vision. Every night for about a year I could see the same thing; an image of the continent of Africa. In this vision, Africa was dark, and I would hear a voice that would say; out of what was called darkness will come a great light.
"And then I saw someone blowing a great trumpet – then a light started coming out of Uganda. It started as a very small light but grew bigger and bigger. As it grew bigger it expanded into other parts of Africa, until the whole continent was full of light. Then it started going out of Africa to the world," she said as reported by UG Christian News.
"And the Lord said, the light will come from within you – meaning us."
