President William Ruto on Friday presided over the launch of over 5,000 fully digitised services.

He had earlier announced that by June, 5000 out of 7000 government services should be digitised.

President Ruto announced that the government will shut down over 1,000 pay bills for government services.

He also unveiled one pay bill to be used for all government services.

While speaking on Friday during the launch of Gava Mkononi, a mobile app version of the e-Citizen, Ruto said Kenyans should use 222222 to pay for all services.
