Athletes on Sunday turned up for the Nairobi City Marathon to compete in different races.

So far Naomi Jebet emerged victorious in the women’s 42km in 2:24:33 with Sharon Chelimo (2:25:20) winning silver ahead of Judith Jeruto taking home bronze in 2:27.0.

Robert Kipkemboi topped the men’s 42km at 2:07:38 as Charles Mneria finished second in 2:08:41.

Gladys Chepkurui won the women’s 21km in 1:09.06 with Susan Chembai taking silver in 1:10.05 and Nancy Chepleting closed the podium in 1:10:17.
